That’s the idea behind the Raymond James Photography Senior Portrait Experience.
Instead of trying to tell your story in a single session, we create opportunities throughout the year to photograph the different sides of you.
Not one look. Not one location. Not one day.

Spring of Junior Year
The Senior Portrait Experience begins before senior year ever arrives.
During the spring of junior year, our Class of 2028 participants will be invited to two exclusive creative portrait experiences, photographed in small groups of three or four participating seniors.
These aren’t traditional senior sessions. They’re designed to be social, creative and fun—a chance to experiment with different looks, meet other seniors participating in the experience and begin telling your story.
And there’s another side to the experience.
During the spring, we’ll also have opportunities for Lifestyle Photography—photographing the things you genuinely love doing and the interests that are already part of your life.
It might be a sporting event, dance, music, theater or something completely different. Rather than creating the setting, we’ll step into your world, combining candid moments with creative portraits that capture you doing something that matters to you.
And when the story calls for it, that coverage may extend beyond a single event, giving us the opportunity to capture more than one moment or experience that helps define who you are.
Think fashion, beauty and a little bit of glamour.
One experience will focus on beautiful, contemporary headshot and beauty-style portraits, with makeup, accessories and styling helping to create a polished editorial look.
The second gives us permission to have even more fun—fashion, movement, dramatic lighting, favorite outfits, prom or formal gowns and ideas we create together.
Photographed alongside a few other Class of 2028 participants, these sessions should feel less like having senior pictures taken and more like being part of a fashion shoot.
We know most guys aren’t dreaming about spending an afternoon having their senior portraits made.
That’s okay.
Their spring experiences will be different.
Rather than fashion and glamour, we’ll create relaxed group sessions built around personality and interests—sports, cars and trucks, music, the outdoors, casual portraits or other ideas that actually make sense for the guys participating.
No forced fashion shoot. No trying to make him into somebody he isn’t.
Just great photographs in an experience that feels like him.
Summer Before Senior Year
Our most complete senior portrait experience.
The Ultimate Senior Portrait Experience is designed for the senior who wants it all—the time, variety and creative freedom to create a truly personal collection of portraits.
Rather than trying to create everything in a single afternoon, your Ultimate Experience allows you to choose from several different portrait styles and combine the ones that feel most like you. And when the photography calls for it, your experience can be divided between two different days, allowing us to photograph each setting at the right location, in the right light, at the right time.
Your senior portraits are completed before senior year begins—ready to enjoy and share as you begin this remarkable year.

A traditional senior portrait session is typically photographed on a single day. The Raymond James Senior Portrait Experience takes a different approach. Beginning before senior year, we have the time and creative freedom to photograph different looks, interests and experiences — creating a more complete portrait of who you are at this remarkable time in your life.

The centerpiece of your Senior Portrait Experience takes place during the summer before senior year begins, with time for multiple looks, locations and creative possibilities.

Instead of trying to create everything during a few hours on one particular day, we have multiple opportunities to create portraits with different clothing, settings, seasons and styles.

All of your photography takes place before senior year begins. When that first day arrives, you’ll already have portraits ready to share with friends and family.
THE SENIOR MAGAZINE
Your Senior Portrait Experience also includes the opportunity to be featured in our Senior Magazine — a special publication celebrating the seniors we photograph and the personalities, interests and experiences that make each of them unique.
The $495 Creation Fee covers your participation in the Senior Portrait Experience and the photography opportunities described above.
Portraits and artwork are purchased separately.
Because of the extensive photography and creative opportunities included in the Senior Portrait Experience, a minimum portrait purchase of $1,500 is required.
The Raymond James Senior Portrait Experience is intentionally limited to just 30 seniors each year. This allows us to devote the time, creativity and personal attention necessary to provide each senior with the complete experience we’ve described.
Because every senior is different, we’d like to learn a little about you — your interests, activities, personality and what you’d love your senior portraits to say about you.
Your application is the first step toward creating a Senior Portrait Experience that’s uniquely yours.
Complete custom photo session design. Advice on colors, styling and fit. You may wear any of the couture pieces in our studio wardrobe during your shoot, if you desire.
Camera-ready custom make-up application by our skillful on site make-up artist (you meet her, you’ll love her) glammed up or natural/refined, it’s all up to you! Light hairstyling for picture perfect results!
Model for a day! You will enjoy a fully, expertly guided magazine style photoshoot. Not photogenic? Nonsense! It is not your job to be. I’ve got you! It is my job to connect and make you comfortable, to show you in your best light with posing.
